The play

A mirror for identity, culture, and ambition.

In Fade, Lucia — a Mexican-American novelist newly hired into a television writers' room — strikes up an unlikely friendship with Abel, the janitor who cleans her office at night. As Lucia climbs, Saracho's sharp, funny, and unflinching two-hander asks what we owe the communities we come from, and what we're willing to trade to belong. It's a story about class, código, and who gets to tell whose story — themes Nina was drawn to both as an actress and as a producer.

"Bringing Fade to the stage was not just a dream — it's a piece of art that resonates with my own experiences and aspirations. Fade isn't just a script; it's a mirror reflecting the complexities of identity, culture, and motivation that I've grappled with in my own life. I'm committed to sharing stories that amplify the voices that matter."
